Flights to Benidorm land at Alicante airport. Airport transfers are available by bus, taxi or private shuttle. Benidorm is a fairly well-structured resort with a good public transport network. Taxis are the quickest way of getting around the resort, although there are lots of amenities such as shops, bars and restaurants within close proximity of many of the hotels. For day trips there are coaches that go to Alicante, which take about an hour to get there.

Although Benidorm is not well-known for its cultural aspects, in the Casco Antiguo section there is a 14th century castle that was built to fend off pirates, which is a fantastic place to enjoy the beautiful Benidorm sunsets. To experience some of the more traditional architecture and culture of the region, the city of Alicante is an enjoyable day trip with some interesting sights and historical features. Holidays in Benidorm are famed for their spectacular nightlife, with a massive range of bars and nightclubs catering for every preference. You won’t struggle to find a venue offering bingo, quiz nights or karaoke, plus plenty of live entertainment for all the family. Holidays in Benidorm can also cater for the serious clubbing crowd with big venues such as Space, El Divino and Penelope’s keeping the party atmosphere going right until dawn.

Benidorm has a good tourist infrastructure geared toward the UK tourist market, and therefore offers all the luxuries of home when it comes to the enormous choice of cuisine on offer in the resort. There are restaurants galore offering good old fashioned ‘British food’ such as Sunday roasts and fish and chips, along with a whole range of Chinese, Indian and Italian places. Head to the old harbour area of Benidorm to sample some of the local cuisine such as tapas and fresh seafood.
