Getting there and getting around

Flights to Lindos fly into the island of Rhodes and have a flying time of approximately 4 hours 30 minutes from the UK. Lindos flights are operated by charter and low-cost airlines from many airports throughout the UK such as Manchester, Exeter and Newcastle. Once in the resort a good way to get around is the local buses or hire a car to explore further into the island and nearby resorts.

Excursions to Rhodes Town and resorts in the South are organised from Lindos, so too boat trips to Symi and even close by Marmaris in Turkey. The beaches are lovely on holidays to Lindos, Lindos Bay a very pretty and clean strip of lovely golden sand the waters are perfect for swimming. Nearby is the quieter beach of Vlicha just north of Lindos. St Paul’s Bay is a fabulous one to visit for clear waters and sanctuary. There are plenty of beachside cafes and tavernas to sit outside and watch people enjoying one of the many water sports available on the beach. By night Lindos holidays come alive, enjoy a meal in one of the delicious restaurants and go on to party the night away, there’s live music, sports bars and a choice of clubs so get your dancing shoes on!

The cuisine on Lindos holidays is delectable, there are numerous cafes, tavernas and restaurants. Some even have rooftop seating areas with fabulous views, serving everything from traditional Greek cuisine to international favourites. Try the traditional dish of mezes, a big selection of little side orders full of mouth-watering appetisers great for trying lots of Greek flavours.
