Known as an Indian paradise and located along the beautiful stretch of coastline in Goa, Baga is a firm favourite for holidaymakers in search of some typical Indian culture and a peaceful and picturesque resort. Holidays in Baga are preferred as an alternative to taking holidays in the lively neighbour Calangute Beach. Despite Baga’s tranquil atmosphere, the village is lined with bars and restaurants and still offers a fantastic nightlife. However, Baga Beach holidays are not as bustling as Calangute Beach, therefore holidaymakers have the best of both worlds when it comes to relaxation and excitement. It’s definitely worth sampling the popular flea market here, running until late in the evening, the flea market offers a great chance to buy gifts from jewellery to leather goods, all with a hint of Goan culture.
