Taxis are the quickest way of getting around the resort, although there are lots of amenities such as shops, bars and restaurants within close proximity of many of the hotels. For day trips there are coaches that go to Alicante, which take about an hour to get there.

Although Benidorm is not well-known for its cultural aspects, in the Casco Antiguo section there is a 14th century castle that was built to fend off pirates, which is a fantastic place to enjoy the beautiful Benidorm sunsets. To experience some of the more traditional architecture and culture of the region, the city of Alicante is an enjoyable day trip with some interesting sights and historical features. Holidays in Benidorm are famed for their spectacular nightlife, with a massive range of bars and nightclubs catering for every preference. You won’t struggle to find a venue offering bingo, quiz nights or karaoke, plus plenty of live entertainment for all the family.
