Goa is home to just one major airport that serves both the north and the south of the Country. The airport here is called Dabolim International Airport and welcomes passengers taking flights to Calangute every year between April and October. Flight time from the UK to Goa is 9 and a half hours and you can fly here from most major airports in the UK. Mapusa is situated 8km south of Calangute and is famous for the Friday Mapusa market, which is one of the few authentic bazaars to be found in Goa.
