Flights to Casablanca can be hard to come by, with not many airports in the UK operating flights there. Casablanca’s Mohammed V international airport is 30 kilometres south-east of the city. Flight time to Morocco is only 3 and a half hours therefore those who don’t enjoy sitting on an aeroplane for a long time will love Casablanca. Transfer from the airport to your chosen accommodation can be done via the rail shuttle that runs hourly from 6.50am to 10.50pm.
Holidays to Casablanca are perfect for the keen sightseer. Casablanca boasts rich architecture all of which can be explored by foot. A famous landmark here is Hassan II Mosque. The Mosque is one of the biggest in the world and an estimated 400 million pound went into the project with the payment coming from Moroccan taxation. An entrance fee is charged to enter the Mosque; however it is well worth the money to see this amazing structure. If you do come here to relax and catch a tan, there is a stunning beach just outside of Casablanca, this beach has become one of the trendiest in Morocco and attracts locals and tourists alike.
Casablanca is said to be one of the finest places to eat when in Morocco. The cuisine is strongly influenced by the French, with many dishes being French specialities. There is also an abundance of seafood on offer which proves very popular with European visitors. There are alcohol restrictions here as you would expect from a Muslim metropolis. Casablanca holidays are just a click away at Travel.co.uk.
