Package holidays to Dubai and Flights to Dubai tend not to be found as a last minute deal. Direct flights are available to Dubai with such companies as Virgin Airways and can be flown from most major airports in the UK. Dubai International Airport was ranked amongst the world’s top 10 airports and has over 20 million passengers pass through its doors every year. Numerous malls cater to every consumers need and with beautiful weather all year round shoppers can browse under the suns gentle rays. Holidays in Dubai would not be complete unless you discover what the dunes have on offer; a favourite trip for visitors is sand-skiing. Best for those with a need for speed, you can enjoy sand skiing down the dunes of the Dubai deserts. Special skis are used and trained sand skiers are on hand to help you out, whether this just be an hour out your day or a full day safari, it is definitely going to get your adrenaline pumping.
In a city comprised of over 100 different nationalities, you can find cuisine of every variety. From local shawarma cafes that serve simply kebabs of lamb or chicken dishes, to the finest of sushi restaurants, Dubai has it all. If you like a drink (alcoholic) when on holiday then you must go to one of the many restaurants inside the hotels as Dubai is a very strict Muslim country and therefore do not drink any alcohol. If you are not afraid of heights, then head up the 200 meter high Al Muntaha Skyview restaurant, here you can sample some delicious Mediterranean inspired delights. Or perhaps for a more interesting way to dine, dive deep below the hotel courtesy of the submarine style lift and enter the underwater restaurant ‘Al Mahara Seafood Restaurant’ and marvel at the colourful sea life whilst you eat. The third restaurant is for those who enjoy a touch of middle-eastern cuisine, the Al Iwan Seaview restaurant serves just this and offers outdoor facilities so you can enjoy your meal on the beachfront, and with a swimming pool and sun loungers nearby, you can lay back and relax under the sun and allow your delicious food to digest.
