So whether you’re on a family holiday or away with friends Limossal has something for everyone. Limossal holidays have a stunning coastline stretching up to 10 km, where you can just soak up the sun and enjoy the warm Mediterranean Sea. The main beach, Dassoudi, has dark sand and plenty of watersport facilities. Other Limassol beaches include Armonia, Governor’s beach and for a quieter spot try Curium beach or Lady’s Mile to the west of Limassol harbour. For diving fans, the coastline is packed with spectacular underwater reefs, tunnels and caves; one of the most visited diving spots in Cyprus is the Wreck of the Zenobia ferry which is along the coast in Larnaca. Places of interest include the Kolossi Castle, the ruins of Kourion, near the modern town of Episkopi and the Royal ancient city of Cyprus called Amathus, 6 miles east of Limassol. Other activities include go-karting, bowling, golfing, trekking through the Troodos Mountains and the resort hosts the vibrant Limassol Carnival every February and March.
