About Cosmos Holidays

Cosmos was founded by a gentleman named Antonio Mantegazza. Antonio began his company as a coach touring operator called ‘Globus Viaggi’. Starting his business venture with only 12 coaches operating around Switzerland, he had high hopes and distant dreams for his new enterprise. By 1968 the business had successfully expanded and even formed its very own airline, Monarch Air. Part of the currently named ‘Cosmos Air Holidays’, Monarch Airlines began with only two used aircraft, meaning there were only limited trips that Cosmos holiday makers could take with them. However, over the past three decades Cosmos became one of the most successful charter companies around, boasting their very own large fleet of aircrafts.
