Getting there and getting around
Maila flights fly into Heraklion Airport, the transfer time to Maila is not long at all. Flights to Malia take around 4 hours and are operated by most charter and low-cost airlines. The flights are fairly regular departing from major and regional airports all over the UK. In the resort the best way to get around is either on foot, public transport or by taxis, which are fairly cheap.
